The company SOCATA (Societe de Construction d"´Avions de Tourisme et d"´Affaires) is a French airplane manufacturer with seat in Tarbes. The company was called originally Morane Saulnier, however 1965 after the assumption by Sud aviation was renamed. In the meantime is the one hundred percent daughter of the EADS.

SOCATA manufactures components for airplane manufacturers such as airbus, Dassault, Embraer, Eurocopter or Lockheed Martin and also a type of aircraft, the SOCATA TBM 700. Beyond that maintenance and spare part supply for the types manufactured in former times with SOCATA are guaranteed.

SOCATA has experience in the manufacturing of structural components made of group materials and metal.
