The spruce Quirlschildlaus (Physokermes) strikes in particular forest stands with spruces (meant like the additive in the name) on crushed stone soils. The infestation favoured by continuous drynesses, with advantage over several years. The F. lives in the Quirlen of branches or in the tree inside.
