The staff aide is a rank of Swiss army (Abk.: Stabsadj). The rank was introduced on 1 January 1996 with the new military law.

The Miliz Stabsadjutant is a staff coworker on stage asked/department and specialized superior of the Hauptfeldweibel. He is wo1 asked at the same time/department.

As an occupation staff aide it is usually used increased technical and training responsibility as chief instructors in cadre schools or carries as boss technical training or a boss of a specialist area.

Frequently he dresses a function in the main or additional job as a project manager for the development of training concepts and/or training aids.
