The Swede Ruben Rausing developed already 1943 an economic cardboard packing for milk. The completely new form of the tetrahedron and the technology should become innovative for Tetra Pak. Because Rausing had invented an absolutely new coating of paper with plastics and a special technology for sealing under the mirror of the respective liquid.

Besides there were also still the likewise 0.5 l H-milk-packing for the household.
In the GDR there were for many decades both milk beverages for school children and coffee-suspect (Kondensmilch) in packing of the original filling up technology. In addition there were stackable hexagonal boxes, since the tetrahedrons cannot be stacked in crates.
This cult beverage in the middle of the 1970er was displaced nevertheless years for his part by the hose-similar products with the name Capri sun owing to a substantial advertising campaign. In order to compensate the disadvantage of the hose milk, one had trained a supporting crease, which ensured to some extent safe conditions. Who did not want to push however the straw in the correct angle and the appropriate Kraft into the hardly perceptible opening, a bad surprise could experience, since the container either at both sides perforated or the stem by a break became useless.

With this actual term monopoly she attained a position, which reached only few other marks as for example speed with the paper handkerchiefs or adhesive tape with the Tesa film. The product is accepted by the consumers, the handling of some of the different patent catches is felt to a large extent however every now and then as malicious.
