The Vivico material Estate GmbH is a real estate company with a Portfolio of approximately 220 real estate properties. Owners of the Vivico are the federal railway ability (94.99%) and the Federal Republic of Germany (5.01%). Vivico was created 2001, in order to sell over the instrument of the privatisation a Immobilienportfolio yield-optimally.
In the context of the German reunification German National Railroad and German Federal Railroads were fused to the German course AG. In response for a partial repayment of debts of the two courses and for investments in infrastructure measures the German course AG the federation transferred a multiplicity of real estate properties, which were not necessary for the actual railway company. These real estates were brought into a special estate of the federation, the federal railway ability.
Came out Vivico from the railway real estates management GmbH (EIM). This had been created 1996 in the context of the course reform. At this time approximately 3,000 former course real estate properties had remained with the federation. Order of the EIM was it to sell these in one period of 15 years. To the sales of approximately 1,000 real estate properties it pointed itself that the yields desired were not to be obtained in the context of a pure order for utilization. Besides the sales of larger surfaces could have made excessive demands of the receptiveness of local markets.
In the year 2001 the Vivico was therefore created material Estate GmbH. Instead of real estate properties - so the new business model -, individual by the sales, the federation obtains its proceeds by the structure of an enterprise value and by the following privatisation. Today Vivico employs about 145 coworkers. It has addresses in Berlin, Frankfurt/Main, Cologne and Munich.
The Immobilienportfolio of Vivico consists on the one hand of spacious surfaces in situation in the city, for example the Arnulfpark in Munich or the European quarter in Frankfurt/Main. On the other hand the Portfolio contains buildings also rented, like the Roman yard in of Berlin splendour road under the lime trees.
