And until December 1991 gulf II Country produced 1990 imported an equipment variant gulf of the CL is syncro with four doors. If one regards the SUV wave rolling inexorably since center of the 1990er years, then it may be maintained only conditionally that the gulf II Country was a trendsetter, because AMC brought already in the year 1980 with the AMC Eagle a vehicle on the market, which resembled strong the concept gulf of the II Country. This vehicle was available apart from sedan and combination also as and Shooting Brake. Toyota copied only short time later with the RAV 4 this concept in similar form and achieved thereby on the Softroader market an enormous success, which continues until today.
