Waiting attitude is a term from the economic science, which a mentality of risk avoidance describes by being waiting and observing the market.

Investors, who do not invest, but on still more favorable investments wait, or applicants for the credit, who wait for still more favorable credit possibilities, are examples of waiting attitude.

Waiting attitude is released by unclear basic conditions and planning uncertainty.

The opposite of waiting attitude is activism.
