Karl Rudolf Arnold Arthur William of Drigalski (* 21. June 1871 in Dresden, " 12. May 1950 in Wiesbaden), Professor Dr.med., Stadtmedizinalrat and royally Prussian upper medical officer of the Prussian land resistance, was a German bacteriologist.
Drigalski was the son of the royally Prussian captain and editor Arthur von Drigalski (1834-1897) and Minna Kuhn (1840-1900).
He married to 5. March 1905 in Wiesbaden the verwitwete read-pray Dill, daughter of the Industriellen and of town councillor Fritz Dill and Elizabeth Bottler.
Drigalski acquired 1890 the school leaving certificate and studied afterwards at the emperor William academy for the military-medical training system. it attained a doctorate to 1895 at the Friedrich William university in Berlin. Afterwards it was until 1907 a medical officer.
1905 were appointed Drigalski the Titularprofessor. In the year following on it it habilitierte at the royal technical university Hanover, 1907 followed oneself the Umhabilitierung to the university resounds. In the First World War it was used among other things on the Balkans and at the German west front. From 1915-1916 it was Gouvernementsarzt in Brussels.
In the year 1919 it joined the German democratic party. From 1925-1933 it led the public health service in Berlin. Because of local absence it 1937 of the university resounds the training power extracted. In the following years he worked as a ship's doctor as well as company doctor and practical physician. After the Second World War it was Ministerialrat in the hessian ministry of the Interior.
