Woldemar Mobitz (* 31. May 1889 in pc. Petersburg; "† 11 April 1951 in Freiburg in mash gau) was a German physician.

The physician son Mobitz began 1908 in Freiburg in mash gau its medicine study, where he followed the Corps Rhenania Freiburg. 1914 he put his state examination down and attained a doctorate to the Dr. med. (summa cum laude).

After its participation in the First World War it habilitierte in Munich for internal medicine and became there 1924 extraordinary professor. From 1926 to 1934 he was an upper physician and afterwards at the medical university clinic Freiburg director of the medical hospital of the urban hospital in Magdeburg up to the occupation of the city by the Red Army 1945. From 1945 to its death 1951 he was a professor for internal medicine at the university clinic Freiburg.

Mobitz became famous by its fundamental research the excitation line block and its classification 1924.

It lent in honours since 2001 annually with 6000 the euro endowed "„Woldemar Mobitz Forschungspreis "“by the German society for Kardiologie.
