Wundballistik is the science of the behavior of the projectiles with the penetration into the body of humans or an animal. In particular the behavior of the projectile is described as well as the injuries at fabrics and organs, caused by it. The Wundballistik is an interdisciplinary range with connections to the medicine, Forensik and military research.

Within the range of the military applies: The developing shot wounds are not to kill the opponent if possible, but to make it only disabled, and bind as much as possible resources. On the other side straight in the fabric and very much research is paid of military.
